SEND YOUR DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL

Sending daughters to school is still a important theme to be addressed in our community. Therefore, GWP is supporting some of the marginal girls students from class one to ten on the basis of applications written by their parents and School’s recommendation. GWP has been providing Rs 1,200 to each student for a one year scholarship program. Through this support they will get admitted in the school and can buy some of the books they require. GWP has been continuing this process since 1993.

  • GWP organised yearly really and till today from the School admission campaign rally GWP has reached more than 200000 young kids and their parents.
  • GWP has supported 13500 Girls with Rs 1200 scholarship Supported to GO TO SCHOOL
  • GWP has supported 5500 Girls with school bags & dress & shoes etcs
  • 17 School has been supported by GWP for infrastructure development

GWP has been implementing the Education program in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Dhading, Banke Districts.

  • Support with Educational materials and school infrastructure
  • Distribute Dress and Bags.

GWP is also operating a school Named “Ujjwol Bhabisya Bal Shikshya Pariyojana” at Mahadevbesi for the children of the stone breakers beside the Agra river at Mahadevbesi. Previously we used to run the school at some rented room. We started with 25 kids and now more than 90 kids are regularly attending the school. Till today GWP has been supported more than 2230 kids from the stone breakers family. Now GWP has built its own building and making the school sustained. This school allows the students to continue their education within the boundaries of their difficult situation and the dire poverty of their family. This year we distributed school dress to them as well as provided school bench and desk for the class room.
